We
are looking at a beautiful, yet not fully restored
Cadillac DeVille 1966 Convertible (one of "only"
19.200 built).
The engine, a V-8 429 with 340
HP, is sound, runs beautifully (on a recently
rebuilt carburetor) and has a little less than 50.000
original miles on it.
The paint is brand new,
the car is virtually rust free, however some extensive
welding has been done to the chassis. The
roof has also been sprayed and is in good condition.
The interior, however, needs
work: carpet needs to be replaced, the upholstery
(including a bit of padding) redone. The dashboard has
a crack the side panels are faded. The AC is currently
not working, neither is the AM/FM story due to a missing
antenna.
Most if not all the rubber around the doors and windows
needs replacement.
Electrically, the vehicle is
fine - all power seats and power windows are
working.
